Magazine Redesign

With the task to redesign a magazine, I thought that with the subject matter as well as the feel of the magazine it could be an interesting approach to incorporate more traditional hand painted elements. With this particular edition being centered around the holidays I had wanted to keep the more family oriented feeling throughout the piece. From the more line work elements that give the appearance of wrapping paper, to the addition of my own family recipes, I wanted to the keep the quality of the magazine while expanding to a broader audience.
