The Senator Theatre Suite

With the task of redesigning the identity suite for a cultural institution of our choice, I had chosen the Senator Theatre located within the Towson, MD area. Pulling inspiration for the lettering and the decorative motifs from the Art Deco inspired decor and feel of the theatre itself, these repeated elements can be seen throughout the entire suite. With the detailing itself, the colors of the darker gold and maroon, as well as the suite itself being printed on a shimmery paper to give the colors more of a metallic appearance, all of the combined elements of the suite help to tie back to the historic qualities of the location while staying a bit modern in design.
