With this collection of alphabet letters, all of which are inspired by summer themes, was created by the manipulation of found objects, which in my case were sunglasses. With the use of photography to capture the forms of the sunglasses and digital editing for the backgrounds of each letter, the overall goal was to produce a full alphabet set that was cohesive yet unique.
For this alphabet set the idea was to create a kit of parts that would then be used to build the rest of our letter forms. Sticking to more organic forms while also pulling inspiration from other forms such as layered glass and slinky toys, the use of just line work and overlapping forms help to create the final pieces.
